Venezuelan Man Wrongfully Deported as US Crackdown Intensifies

A Venezuelan man, Andry José Hernández Romero, has been wrongfully deported to El Salvador after US immigration officers misinterpreted his tattoos as gang affiliations. Hernández, who has a tattoo of a crown on each wrist with the words “Mom” and “Dad,” was detained and placed on a plane to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador. However, the tattoos were in reference to the annual El Día de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day), a widely celebrated festival in the Spanish-speaking world, rather than any criminal group. US authorities have been aggressively enforcing deportation policies under increased scrutiny, leading to errors such as this case. In their haste, officials misinterpreted not only religious symbols but also dedications to deceased grandparents and references to Spanish football clubs. Wata mata mai shekaru 37, Linda Stephen, a ranar Talata, ta garzaya wata kotun gargajiya a Kaduna, inda ta nemi kotu ta raba auran dake tsakanin ta da mijinta, Felix Stephen domin yawan sha’awar jima’i.  A cikin karar da ta shigar, Mrs Stephen, wata mazauniyar Ungwan Sunday a Kaduna, ta  zargi mijin nata neh da dukan ta a duk lokacin da ta ki amincewa da ta kwanta da shi.    Ta shaida wa kotun cewa shekarun su shida wanda a yanzu ba ta da sha’awar auren domin ba za ta iya jurewa yawan bukatar mijin nata ba. A bayanin Mrs Stephen,  “Ina kira ga kotu da ta raba auren domin ba zan iya jure yawan sha’awar jima’i ba, Minina yana son jima’i da yawa, kuma ba zan iya jurewa ba, yawancin lokaci yakan yi jima'i da ni tun daga tsakar dare har zuwa safiya, ko da ina kuka, ba zai daina ba".  Stephen, a martanin da ya mayar, ya shaida wa kotun cewa yana son matarsa.   Ya kuma roki kotun da ta taimaka masa wajan kwantar wa da matan sa hankali, kada ta kashe aura...

A 21-year-old suspect was reportedly motivated by his failure to graduate from arts and technology school and other factors  A weekend knife attack at a vocational school in Jiangsu, eastern China left 8 people dead and 17 injured, according to police reports. The attack took place at the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology in the city of Yixing on Saturday evening, police said. The suspect in the attack, a 21-year-old identified only as Xu, was motivated by anger due to his failure to pass exams and earn a diploma from the institute, as well as dissatisfaction with internship compensation, according to local police, who have detained Xu. In an emotional ceremony held last evening in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi has been inaugurated as the new guardian of the Holy Ka’bah, following the demise of Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba.  Sheikh Abdul Wahab, who is 78 years old, is the 110th successor of Uthman bin Talha, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him).
