In an emotional ceremony held last evening in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi has been inaugurated as the new guardian of the Holy Ka’bah, following the demise of Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba.  Sheikh Abdul Wahab, who is 78 years old, is the 110th successor of Uthman bin Talha, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him). Senator (Comrade) Shehu Sani, former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, has weighed in the recent visits by some prominent northern politicians to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
