Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi Inaugurated As 110th Ka'abah Guardian.
In an emotional ceremony held last evening in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi has been inaugurated as the new guardian of the Holy Ka’bah, following the demise of Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba. Sheikh Abdul Wahab, who is 78 years old, is the 110th successor of Uthman bin Talha, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him). The traditional handover ceremony, steeped in centuries-old customs, took place in the presence of dignitaries, family members, and prominent figures from the community. During the ceremony, the keys to the Ka’bah were formally handed over to Sheikh Abdul Wahab, symbolizing his new role and responsibilities as the custodian of this sacred site.
