Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi Inaugurated As 110th Ka'abah Guardian.

In an emotional ceremony held last evening in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi has been inaugurated as the new guardian of the Holy Ka’bah, following the demise of Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba.

Sheikh Abdul Wahab, who is 78 years old, is the 110th successor of Uthman bin Talha, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him).

The traditional handover ceremony, steeped in centuries-old customs, took place in the presence of dignitaries, family members, and prominent figures from the community.

During the ceremony, the keys to the Ka’bah were formally handed over to Sheikh Abdul Wahab, symbolizing his new role and responsibilities as the custodian of this sacred site.

As the new guardian, Sheikh Abdul Wahab inherits a legacy that dates back to the early days of Islam. The Al-Shaiba family has held the honor of safeguarding the Ka’bah for generations, a duty that carries profound spiritual significance for Muslims worldwide.

In his speech, Sheikh Abdul Wahab expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding the traditions and sanctity of the Holy Ka’bah.

He emphasized the importance of unity and faith among Muslims, pledging to continue the legacy of his predecessors in serving the Islamic community.
