Nur Sultan Grand Mosque Finally Opened In Kazakhstan

Guinness nominee Nur Sultan Grand Mosque has been finally completed and opened

The mosque which was opened with a ceremony yesterday, Thursday 12th August in the capital city Kazakhstan holds a world record thanks to the size of its main chandelier is decorated with the 99 names of Allah on its Kibla wall, and is a contender to be the largest of its kind thanks not only to its total size, but also to the number of crystals it contains.

Its carpet is decorated with an oval pattern measuring 70 metres in diameter and located in the main hall of the mosque. 

Nur Sultan Grand Mosque, which has the highest viewing terrace in the city, can host up to 30,000 visitors at once.
