It has been reported that residents of some Villages in Wase local Government area of Plateau state have began fleeing their homes following the withdrawal of Nigerian troops stationed in the area.

Nur Sultan Grand Mosque Finally Opened In Kazakhstan

Guinness nominee Nur Sultan Grand Mosque has been finally completed and opened The mosque which was opened with a ceremony yesterday, Thursday 12th August in the capital city Kazakhstan holds a world record thanks to the size of its main chandelier is decorated with the 99 names of Allah on its Kibla wall, and is a contender to be the largest of its kind thanks not only to its total size, but also to the number of crystals it contains. Its carpet is decorated with an oval pattern measuring 70 metres in diameter and located in the main hall of the mosque.  Nur Sultan Grand Mosque, which has the highest viewing terrace in the city, can host up to 30,000 visitors at once. And ALLAH is knowing of all things.” (Quran 64:11) It’s been a year—twelve months marked by the quiet ache of absence and memories that keep us company since we lost our beloved mother (fondly called ‘Mama’ by us and her grandchildren), Hajiya Sa’adatu Musa Kofa on the 17th of May 2024, corresponding to the 9th of Dhu’l-Qadah, 1445 AH.  Time has flown, yet the silence left in the wake of our mother’s passing has been deafening. Still, it remains painfully difficult to accept that my time with Mama (being her last child), has come to an end. Equally, Mama’s death has hit my beloved father, four older siblings, four grandchildren, her sisters, in-laws, relatives, domestic staff and acquaintances in unquantifiable proportion.
