Troops Neutralize Several Terrorists, Recovers Arms And Motorcycles In Kaduna State

The Kaduna state Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, have praised troops of the Nigeria Army for a major success recorded during an ongoing operations against bandits.

According to reports from the Ministry, scores of bandits were neutralized by ground troops and air components of Operation Forest Sanity during a clearance operation in Galbi, Chikun local government area of Kaduna state.
 
During the operation, the security forces advanced and crossed the River Kaduna and ran into stiff resistance from the insurgents.

After a fierce gun battle, the security forces recovered some items which include two General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs), three AK47 rifles and seven motorcycles.

The Kaduna State Government thanked and praised the troops of the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force officers, police personnel, intelligence operatives, and local vigilante members who contributed to the success of the operation and victory against the enemy forces. 

The Government also urged the security forces to increase the momentum and vanquish the terrorists for good.

Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi Inaugurated As 110th Ka'abah Guardian.

In an emotional ceremony held last evening in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi has been inaugurated as the new guardian of the Holy Ka’bah, following the demise of Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba.  Sheikh Abdul Wahab, who is 78 years old, is the 110th successor of Uthman bin Talha, a revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him).
