Nigeria Top List Of African Countries Fighting Corruption While Somalia Remain Most Corrupt in Africa


In a report released by Transparency International, Nigeria top the list of  countries that have shown improvement in Fighting corruption while Somalia still maintain it status as the most corrupt country in the world.

Latest Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) shows South Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, and Burundi at the bottom of the list despite the United Nations decision to fight corruption globally.

Other African countries that shown improvement in fighting corruption are Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Guinea, Uganda, Liberia, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, and Mali.

 Rwanda was ranked 4th as the least corrupt country in Africa and the first in East Africa. 

The CPI Score relates to perceptions of the degree of corruption and ranges between 100 (highly clean) and 0 (highly corrupt).
