Yemen Joins Gaza Conflict As They Stand With The Palestinians

NIGERIA

The Houthi government in Yemen has confirmed its involvement in the ongoing  Israel-Palestine conflict.

On Tuesday, the Houthi's launched drones and missiles against Israel, as they pledge to continue doing so.

‘Our Armed Forces launched a large batch of ballistic and cruise missiles and a large number of drones at various targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied territories,’ said Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, adding that the most recent launch was ‘the third operation in support of our oppressed brethren in Palestine.’

Saree continued that Yemen joined the campaign in Gaza ‘out of a sense of religious, moral, humanitarian and national responsibility,’ and added that the military ‘will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops.’
